Whether you’re a writer or a reader, there’s nothing quite as exciting as beginning a new book. Unless, of course, you’re opening a bookstore. After months of conversations and explorations; after all the planning and scouting and figuring; we have finally arrived. The doors to Seaport Books open on the new moon of April 26th. An auspicious date to begin new things. Who knows where the venture will lead? How many people from all parts of the world will cross our threshold? What authors will become favorites? Which artist will steal our heart? Who will buy the first book? The 100th?
